Here are some facts about the medieval longbow!
The majority of longbows were made from yew and were around 6 - 7 feet in length
A professional archer was could shoot arrows up to 365 metres (thats over 3 football pitches long!)
They could release around 10 or 12 per minute while a crossbow could only manage 2 or 3!
